Introduction

The following variations will be explored from least to most interesting.

The Stubborn Knight

Rule Modifications:

  1. The Knight will go the nth lowest unvisited square

The Reincarnated Knight

Rule Modifications:

  1. The knight will visit the lowest, unvisited, undead square
  2. If the knight is trapped, the simulation is repeated but the trapped square will be marked as ‘dead’

The Clever knight

  1. If the knight is trapped, the knight will move back to the previous square and go to the second lowest square

The Anti-prime Knight

  1. The knight cannot visit squres with a prime value

The Forgetful Knight

  1. The knight can only remember up to n previous squares
